About Me

I began my journey as a Holistic Nutritionist in 2009. After five long years of watching my mother suffer with a debilitating condition while receiving one misdiagnosis after the next before succumbing to Lupus, I was left grieving and frustrated with Western medicine and its failed attempts at “health”-care. By the time she received an accurate diagnosis her body was far too frail to respond to treatment. As I watched her deteriorate, I couldn’t stop thinking, “there has to be a better way“.

Six months after losing my dear mother, my youngest son, Allen was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma and the rare autoimmune disease Opsoclonus-myoclonus Syndrome (OMS) at just fifteen months old. I was determined to help him heal and restore his quality of living. With the support of our beloved family, we were able to partner with an OMS Specialist and begin his healing journey. Meanwhile, I consumed anything I could get my hands on regarding Holistic Nutrition when I stumbled upon a lecture by a doctor who was speaking about ways we can boost our immunity through nutrition. I implemented his approach to eating within my family and this was the turning point in Allen’s healing, but it is my deep faith in God, alongside that of my husband, Bryan, that I attribute his total healing to. Our spiritual life gave us the strength to get through those difficult years and our son was fully restored by the age of five.

However, the journey was an arduous one and I found my own health compromised. The constant appointments left no time for my previously active lifestyle and the stress of caring for and worrying over a sick child took its toll. I was diagnosed with blood iron anemia, hypothyroidism, and estrogen dominance. I was exhausted but determined to heal my body naturally and enrolled to study Holistic Nutrition at The Energetic Health Institute, where I learned the true path to health. My healing journey, along with my son’s, has proven to me the importance of a whole food nutrition and holistic approach to health, that I hope to share with you.

Thank you for allowing me to join you on your journey.
